How to reset the calculator

Reset the calculator (Recommended)

Press SHIFT.

Press 9 (CLR).

The screen should show:

1: Setup

2: Memory

3: All

Press 3 (All).

Press = to confirm.

Press AC to exit.

This restores the calculator to its factory default settings.

Method 2: Check the calculation mode

If the calculator still behaves strangely:

Press MODE.

Select 1: COMP (Computation mode).

This is the normal mode for everyday calculations.

Method 3: Check the angle unit

If trigonometric calculations (sin, cos, tan) are incorrect:

Press SHIFT → MODE (SETUP).

Choose:

1: Deg (Degrees) – most common.

2: Rad (Radians) – for some higher mathematics.

3: Gra (Gradians).
